Tennessee’s Wayne Chism and Bobby Maze – two key components of the Volunteers’ Elite Eight team last year – are both in the news..
Chism, who bypassed a shot at the NBA to play in Turkey during his rookie year in professional basketball, has been released by his Turkish squad, Antalya.
Back here in the U.S., Maze has added his name to the class action suit against the NCAA started by former Arizona State and Nebraska quarterback Sam Keller for using athletes’ likenesses without compensation. Maze’s suit also targets the SEC and EA Sports specifically. And Maze is also taking action with the NCAA’s practice of offering scholarships on a one-year basis.
