Michigan State’s Idong Ibok will return to the U.S. to play professionally. He signed a deal with the D-League’s New Mexico Thunder Birds. Ibok was a senior on Michigan State’s national runner-up team in 2009.
Ibok will take the roster spot of Missouri’s Jason Horton, the brother of former Michigan standout Daniel Horton. Michigan State basketball is even taking it to the relatives of Michigan players. Rough.
