The 2013 season is one that we’ll be talking about until the end of time, but it’s never too early to start talking about next season. Every division 1 men’s basketball program is allotted 13 scholarships per year. At this point, Louisville will bring in four scholarship players next season. As of right now, four players that were on scholarship at the beginning of the 2012-13 season are gone. That number could jump to five if Russ Smith decides to enter the NBA draft. Scholarship Players Returning: -Luke Hancock -Stephan Van Treese Listed as a Sr. on the 2012-13 roster, but UofL announced in March that they expect SVT to return for one more year.
