Louisville No Longer Pursuing Juwan Staten

According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, the Louisville coaching staff is no longer pursuing former Dayton point guard Juwan Staten, after picking up a verbal commitment from Kevin Ware yesterday. Miami, Texas Tech, and Texas are the three schools currently involved with Staten. Staten is more of a true point-guard, while Ware will have a bit of transitioning to do in order to play point at the college level. However, I think taking Ware over Staten is a no brainer. Ware has the ability to play the point, he just needs to be slightly polished.
