University of Kentucky Official Athletics...:
Doron Lamb scored 24 points and No. 3 Kentucky bounced back from its first loss of the season, beating Tennessee-Chattanooga 87-62 on Saturday night despite an injury to forward Terrence Jones. Voted preseason All-America, Jones spent much of the game on the bench after hurting a finger on his left hand early in the first half. He checked back in but played only 10 minutes. He finished with no points and one rebound. Still, the Wildcats (9-1) opened with 13 unanswered points in their first game since a 73-72 defeat at Indiana last Saturday knocked them from the nation's top ranking. The Mocs (3-8) never came within single digits after that.

John Calipari is getting the most from his top rated recruiting class
We all know that the Kentucky Wildcat’s John Calipari is the honey badger of college basketball recruiting. But once he gets his recruits on campus, how do they stack up against other players that “could have been Wildcats”? John Calipari signed three players in the 2011 class that were the number one ranked players at their positions by Rivals. Those players were Marquis...

No. 3 Kentucky eager to finally play after loss
(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By COLIN FLY AP Sports Writer Anthony Davis wished he had another game to play immediately after top-ranked Kentucky fell to Indiana on Saturday.
Instead, the freshman has had to wait with the rest of the Wildcats, who dropped to No. 3 in the AP poll after a 73-72 Hoosiers victory revealed a few lingering issues.

Kentucky Wildcat’s take on the Mighty Mocs
Let’s get real here: Chattanooga is awful. The Cats should have no trouble TCOB (If you don’t know what that means, please consult BTO). But, stranger things have happened, just look at what happened to the Vols.
But the good thing is that the Cats are 1,000 times better than UT and an upset should not occur. This should be a good game to get back on track and finally expel...
Kentucky Wildcats Basketball: Twany-Time
Today’s game between UK and Chattanooga today will be the first game at UK that Twany Beckham is eligible to play. He has been practicing with the team but up until today has been forced to sit due to his transfer from Mississippi State. It will be interesting to see how he plays.
I don’t expect to see him play much at least early in the game, but if this game gets out of...
No. 3 Kentucky beats Tennessee-Chattanooga 87-62
Tennessee-Chattanooga coach John Shulman knew the only way his team could hang with Kentucky was if the Mocs forced the Wildcats to shoot from long range.
Problem was Kentucky had a season-best performance from the 3-point line.
Tennessee-Chattanooga (3-8) sent constant double teams to try and minimize the impact of Kentucky's post players, but the third-ranked Wildcats hit...
12/18 Kentucky Wildcats NightCap
Back to Normal
By now you are surely aware of yesterday’s basketball results. Terrence Jones hurt his finger. Anthony Davis got a ton of blocks and rebounds. The Cats gave up a bunch of open looks at 3s. Cal coached them to another 20 point win over a cupcake. Nothing much that is news-worthy, unless Jones is unable to play New Years Eve against Louisville. On the other hand...
4 PM Headlines
Can we all agree that this has been the most boring week in Kentucky Wildcats atheltics news wise since the summer? I think we can because literally no news is coming from this game, or no excitement. I’m sure Rupp Arena will be filled, but yeah, nothing worth noting going into the game besides the work ethic or “bounce back” game of Terrence Jones, it will be interesting...
