George Beamon scored 19 points to lead Manhattan in a 94-51 rout of Binghamton Friday night. The Jaspers (9-5) led 43-13 at halftime and were never challenged by winless Binghamton (0-12), which fell behind by 30 points at the half. The Bearcats haven't won since March 3 in a 26-point win over Maryland-Baltimore County in last season's America East Tournament. Manhattan held Binghamton to 13 first-half points. The Jaspers, who won for the seventh time in eight games, shot 59.3 per cent from the floor (35 of 69), hit 8 of 20 3-pointers and made 16 of 17 from the foul line. Binghamton's three starting guards scored 42 of the Bearcats' 51 points. Jimmy Gray led the way with 15 points while Robert Mansell added 14 and Chris Longoria chipped in 13. For Manhattan, Liam McCabe-Moran scored 14 points on 6 of 9 shooting, including 2 of the Jaspers' 8 3-pointers.
