Deadspin.com is the website that broke the entire Manti Te’o fake girlfriend hoax last week, which has become the biggest story of 2013. One of DeadSpin’s most recent articles on the Te’o situation looked back at all of the Tweets from the fake Lennay Kekua Twitter account. It turns out the fake account had contacted Peyton Siva following Louisville’s second round win

As I’m sure most of you folks know, Rick Pitino has a ban on Twitter, therefore Siva didn’t respond to the Tweet and likely didn’t see it.
When asking about the Manti Te’o hoax last week at his press conference Coach Pitino said he jokingly asked Siva if is this was a Samoan thing.
