Back on Feb. 10, the headline of The Lantern read "No more trillions for Titus." But not even a serious shoulder injury could keep infamous Ohio State walk-on Mark Titus out of the lineup for one last trillion on Senior Night in Columbus.
(Quick explanation: A trillion is when someone plays one minute, but records all zeros in the stat sheet.)
Titus, who is responsible for the Club Trillion blog and this incredible music video, made his way into Tuesday night's game just long enough for people to cheer him on one more time (and break out inflatable sharks). Titus logged his gratitude on Twitter this morning:
THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING LAST NIGHT THE MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I'M USING ALL CAPS TO EMPHASIZE HOW THANKFUL I TRULY AM.
What's next for Titus? Shoulder surgery, according to Ohio State assistant Jeff Boals. After that, who knows? Maybe he'll live in Bill Simmons' garage or make a movie?
