Marquette 95 Cincinnati 78

I think we can all agree that Saturday afternoon's game at Marquette was a good old fashion ass whoopin. The Bearcats were utterly dominated the last 35 minutes of the game to the point that the picture up top is one of the good Cincinnati pictures from the game. People seem to be in a couple of different camps about loss #8. There are some people who are making the assumption that Cincinnati's fate in the NIT was sealed with such a terrible loss. I'm not in that camp. There is a way too much season to go and we really don't know anything about the bubble. Look at different brackets by different people and UC is a team that's hard to get a grasp on. This loss probably isn't going to be the thing to knock them out of the tournament. The only thing that is a black eye from this game being a loss is the margin. Losing at Marquette is one thing, getting destroyed by Marquette is not really acceptable.
