Today at 12 o'clock Maryland(13-5) travels to Durham, NC to face #2 Duke(17-1). Traditionally the Terps have had a lot of success at Cameron Indoor Stadium over the years. But this year I don't have a good feeling about this game. The Terps are not playing well and Duke is on a roll. Duke is 11-0 at home this season and Maryland is 0-2 on the road. This will be a difficult game for Maryland to win.
How Maryland Can Win?
To have a shot at winning Maryland needs to get off to a good start and stay focused. The Terps have blown huge leads against Miami and Virginia. They can't afford to do that against a good Duke team. The Terps need a huge game from both Greivis Vasquez and Adrian Bowie. Eric Hayes will have to step up and score some points in this game. The Terps will have to shut down Gerald Henderson to win. Kyle Singer gets all the hype but Henderson is the playmaker.
I hate to say this because I can't stand Duke but the Blue Devils will win this game by 10. Maryland just doesn't have the horses to beat Duke in a hostile environment.
