Often, you will see teams struggle early on in the season with turnovers. Take a team like Maryland for example. Without him, Maryland was expected to struggle a little bit with handling the basketball.

Through two games, Maryland has 47 turnovers. Guard Adrian Bowie leads the team, averaging 4.5 per contest thus far. To make it worse, he only has five assists. Actually, that’s more of a trend as a team. Maryland has more turnovers than assists (47 turnovers compared to 40 assists) and only Pe’Shon Howard and Sean Mosley have a 2:1 turnover to assist ratio.
