MBB: Papa Dia Named NABC All-District First Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (SMU) - SMU senior forward Papa Dia was selected to the 2011 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District First Team. Dia adds to his accolades as he was already named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and to the All-Conference USA First Team and C-USA All-Defensive Team. Dia has helped lead SMU to its highest win total (17) since 2002-03 as well as its most wins (8) in Conference USA and best seed (No. 7) in the C-USA Championship.
