Senior Phillip McDonald picked a great time to reemerge as a scorer for the UNM men’s basketball team, becoming the latest Lobo to join the 1,000-point club while putting up a game-high 18 points to lead the Lobos to a commanding 87-62 win over visiting Missouri-Kansas City at The Pit Thursday night before a announced crowd of 13,419.
