“Celebrate good times, come on!” – Kool and the Gang Historic losses usually do not have the Duke Blue Devils as the victim, but that is exactly what took place on Wednesday night in Coral Gables, when the Miami Hurricanes manhandled Duke by the tune of a 90-63 score. The loss was the third-worst ever for a team ranked #1 in the nation. This game was never really close, as Miami went on a 25-1 run in the first half. The Blue Devils never threatened a comeback. Mike Krzyzewski summed up the ‘Canes ‘terrific’ play after the game: “We expected them to be terrific, and we have to match terrific, and then you have a terrific game,” Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said. “What you had was a terrific win for them, but not a terrific game.
