W. Basketball. Spartans Pull Away in Second Half, Beat Indiana, 67-47

The Michigan State women's basketball team improved to 4-0 in Big Ten play, utilizing a 12-0 run late in the second half to pull away from Indiana, 67-47 on Thursday night at Breslin Center. Senior Porsche Poole scored a game-high 16 points, and freshman Kiana Johnson dished out a season-high 10 assists in the win.

Wrestling. #9 Wolverines and Spartans Up Next For Indiana

Hoosier Wrestling (6-2) is slated for a double dip of Big Ten duals this weekend, heading to the state of Michigan for matches against the #9 Wolverines (3-2) and the Spartans of Michigan State (2-3).

W. Gymnastics. GymHawks Top Michigan State 193.225-190.175

The University of Iowa women's gymnastics team opened its home season in Carver-Hawkeye Arena with a 193.225-190.175 win over Michigan State Friday evening. On the way to their first win of the season, the GymHawks bested the Spartans in three events and crowned an all-around competitor in freshman Emma Willis.

It was kind of a bad news, good news night for Michigan State on Friday at Munn Arena.MSU, which fell behind 2-0 but rallied to take leads of 4-2 and 5-3. The Spartans, however, shot themselves in the skate by giving up goals in the last minute of the first period, the second period and third period.
