After being pestered by Ohio State’s Aaron Craft for essentially the entire game Michigan’s Trey Burke had the last laugh.
In the final 10 seconds of the overtime period, Burke along with Tim Hardaway Jr. blocked two separate shot attempts from Craft as the Wolverines went on to beat Ohio State 76-74 in overtime avenging their earlier season loss in Columbus.
For the most part the game was largely sback and fourth in the second half after Michigan cooled considerably at the end of the first. Craft and Shannon Scott for the Buckeyes were able to put the breaks on Burke while getting more all around production on the offensive end quickly jumping out to a seven point lead.
However Michigan’s offense was just too good to be held down for long.
Glenn Robinson III hit a three before Hardaway Jr. went off with four straight long balls to quickly get Michigan back to even the score.
