Four UMass players scored in double digits as the Minutemen manhandled the TCU Horned Frogs 67-48. Anthoney Gurley, Sampson Carter, Freddie Riley, and Javorn Farrell all scored in double digits, with Anthoney Gurley leading the way with 14. After the first few minutes of this game it looked like it was going to be a lot closer than it actually turned out to be. Both teams traded off big runs in the first 10 minutes of the first half. UMass was down 14-12 with a little over nine minutes to play in the half, but from that point on it was all UMass. The Minutemen went on a 19-2 run and would go into halftime with a 37-21 lead. The Minutemen led by as much as 26 points in the second half and would hold on easily to improve to 4-0.
