The Missouri Tigers are coming off a nice 98-79 win over Ole Miss over the weekend. It was a much needed win for Frank Haith's team, who dropped a bad one earlier in the week on the road against LSU.
It is the LSU loss that cost the Tigers a spot in this week's AP Top 25 as Mizzou slid out of the rankings for the first time this season.
The Tigers are 17-6 on the season and have impressive wins over VCU and Stanford on neutral floor. But Mizzou has struggled mightily on the road, losing all five of its traditional road games on the season.
Mizzou will get a chance to pick up its first road victory with a trip to Mississippi State, who is just 7-15 on the season and is currently sitting in last place in the SEC.
At 6-4 in SEC play, Mizzou desperately needs a road victory if the Tigers hope to make some late season noise in SEC play.
