Mathias Ward scored 22 points to help Montana come back in the second half and take a 64-49 win over Montana Tech on Wednesday night. The Grizzlies (5-4) trailed the entire first half, shooting just 30 percent from the field, while Ward was kept to just four points. But Montana turned it around after the break, making 65 percent from the field, pulling ahead for good with less than 12 minutes left and taking their largest lead for the final score. The Diggers (4-4) led by as many as seven points in the first half and finished shooting 46 percent from the field. Brian Cummings led the Diggers with 17 points while Tyree Haynie added 13. Jordan Wood scored 10 points, including the go-ahead layup, for the Grizzlies. Kareem Jamar added 14.
