Michael Dison's career-high 17 points off the bench led a balanced scoring effort, and Montana State rode a big first half and hot 3-point shooting to an 84-72 victory over Northern Colorado on Saturday night. Dison, a freshman, was 5 of 8 from the field, including 4 of 5 on 3-pointers, for the Bobcats (10-8, 5-2 Big Sky). Overall, Montana State was 13 of 29 from behind the arc. Christian Moon added 13 points, Xavier Blount had 12, and Tre Johnson had 11 points and nine rebounds. Mike Proctor led the Bears (6-12, 3-4) with 14 points, and Elliott Lloyd and Emmanuel Addo added 13 apiece. Montana State opened the game on a 20-7 run, capped by a Moon layup, en route to a 48-33 halftime lead. Northern Colorado got no closer than nine in the second half. With the win, the Bobcats lead the series with the Bears 33-17.
