From Larry Brown Sports:

A home in Fort Wayne, Ind., has become the envy of Indiana Hoosiers fans everywhere thanks to its amazing Christmas lights display.

The home has an elaborate lights display that is coordinated to the first few seconds of the school’s fight song, followed by the radio play-by-play call of Christian Watford’s memorable buzzer-beater that helped the Hoosiers top No. 1-ranked Kentucky 73-72 last December. The home also has a large IU logo on the roof.

Kentucky beat Indiana in the NCAA Tournament and went on to win its eighth national championship, but that hardly matters to Hoosiers fans who are still commemorating one of the program's best moments in the Tom Crean era a year later.

Indiana basketball fan has Christmas lights synched to Watford’s buzzer beater

There are few Diehard fans that love their team as much as Indiana and their Hoosier basketball team.Last year’s upset victory over then number one, Kentucky, was as memorable as it gets, and this fan wants to remind himself and everyone in his Fort Worth, Indiana neighborhood of Christian Watford’s buzzer beater (let’s hope everyone close to this house is an Indiana fan...

HD Video: Oladipo, Watford and Zeller react to win over CCSU

Christian Watford (21 points, five rebounds), Victor Oladipo (15 points, nine rebounds, five steals, three blocks, two assists) and Cody Zeller (19 points and 19 rebounds) met with the media following Indiana’s 100-69 win over Central Connecticut State on Saturday at Assembly Hall. Watch and listen to the press conference in the embedded media player below:

Indiana clamps down on D in easy win

No. 1 Indiana had another strong offensive game on Saturday, and it looks as if the Hoosiers can play defense, too. While Christian Watford scored 21 points and Cody Zeller had 19 points and a career-high 19 rebounds, it was the Hoosiers' suffocating defense that had the starring role in a 100-69 victory over Central Connecticut State. Indiana is off to its second straight...

Fan creates Hoosiers-themed X-Mas display

So far, our sports-related Christmas updates have been pretty weird. We’ve featured pro wrestlers (both foreign and domestic) singing Christmas carols, the NBA inspiring hate for their CGI ‘Carol Of The Bells’ commercial and the Boston Red Sox trying to sell season tickets with rehashed Christmas Vacation jokes. And now, because the quest to be the weirdest Christmas update...

Big Ten Geeks on IU’s 3-point shooting

Big Ten Geeks on IU’s 3-point shooting: The Hoosiers are, predictably, shooting worse than last season, but not by much. Indiana is hitting 40 percent from deep, maintaining the three-point shot as a very valuable weapon. Note that the team average would be 36.5 percent were it not for Remy Abell’s 10 for 12 performance. I thought Matt Roth had graduated, but maybe he’s just...

The Minute After: Central Connecticut State

Thoughts on a 100-69-win over the Blue Devils: I.  Christian Watford has had his struggles finding shots in the flow of Indiana’s transition-heavy offense of late. At times, it’s as if he’s been on his own island hunting for shots to no avail. But Watford was engaged from the onset and actively scoring early in this one. (Tom Crean said after the game he was coming off his...

Indiana's Etherington leaves game on stretcher

No. 1 Indiana lost forward Austin Etherington during the first half Saturday night against Central Connecticut State. The sophomore forward appeared to hurt his left leg on a play underneath the basket with the Hoosiers leading 49-29 and 2:28 to go in the half. He stayed down on the floor as trainers appeared to cover the leg with a towel and almost immediately called for help...

Indiana beats Creighton 1-0 in NCAA semifinal

Femi Hollinger-Janzen scored midway through the first half and Indiana held off Creighton 1-0 on Friday night to advance to the NCAA soccer final. The seven-time champion Hoosiers (15-5-3) will play Georgetown in the title game Sunday. The Hoyas beat Maryland 4-3 on penalty kicks following a 4-4 tie. Hollinger-Janzen gathered a deflected pass on the right wing and booted an 8-yard...

Indiana homeowner sets Christmas lights to the Christian Watford buzzer beater

A family in Fort Wayne, Indiana took a lot of time to set their Christmas light show to the Christian Watford buzzer beater against the Kentucky Wildcats. This is a lot better than those Skrillex or dubstep Xmas shows other people are doing. P.S. Thank goodness they didn’t have the Dick Vitale call on this. It would automatically put me in the hate category.

Hoosiers soccer make College Cup finals

Entering Friday night's NCAA College Cup semi-finals Big Ten fans were hoping to see a current B1G team win and a future B1G team win for an all B1G clash as Indiana took on Creighton in one semi-final and Maryland took on Georgetown for the right to play for the national championship on Sunday. However that dream matchup wouldn't come to fruition, but don't blame...
