The Michigan State gymnastics team will host its annual "Flip for a Cure" meet when it welcomes Illinois State to East Lansing on Saturday (Jan. 28). The sixth annual Jan Howard Memorial Flip for a Cure Breast Cancer Awareness meet will be held in Jenison Field House with competition beginning at 7 p.m. (ET).
M. Ice Hockey. Spartans Fall, 4-3, at Ferris; Suffer Sweep
Michigan State fell on the road at Ferris State on Saturday, 4-3, and with its second one-goal loss of the weekend, was swept for the third time this season. MSU falls below .500 in CCHA play, at 8-9-3-2 and is 13-11-4 overall. Ferris State went 2-for-9 on the man advantage, the most opportunities and extra-man tallies allowed in a game by the Spartans since November.

North claims 23-13 Senior Bowl victory
Michigan State's Kirk Cousins and Wisconsin's Russell Wilson threw touchdown passes to lead the North to a 23-13 victory over the South in the Senior Bowl on Saturday.

Michigan State fifth-year senior Kirk Cousins, the winningest quarterback in school history, will represent the North in Saturday's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Cousins compiled a 27-12 record (.692) in 39 career starts, including a 22-5 mark over his final two seasons. NFL Network will televise the 63rd annual Senior Bowl at 4 p.m. EST.

No. 18/19 Lady Lions Continue Road Swing at Michigan State Sunday
The No. 18/19 Penn State Lady Lions (16-4, 6-2) conclude their time in the state of Michigan when they travel to East Lansing to face the Spartans (12-9, 4-4) Sunday at 3 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2 with Brenda VanLengen and Kayte Christiansen calling the action. The game will also be available on ESPN3.com.
W. Basketball. Spartans Remain at Home to Host No. 18 Penn State Sunday
Looking to snap its losing streak, the Michigan State women's basketball team welcomes No. 18/19 Penn State to Breslin Center Sunday at 3 p.m. on ESPN2. The game is also Alumni Day, as many former Spartans are back in town for the festivities. MSU defeated PSU 75-65 earlier this season in University Park.
Senior Bowl Preview - Part II
Michigan State fifth-year senior tight end Brian Linthicum, who set career highs for receptions (31) and receiving yards (364) in 2011, will represent the North in Saturday's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
