The University of Connecticut has proposed reducing the number of total games played in 2013 if the NCAA grants a waiver to allow play in the 2013 men's basketball tournament.
Currently barred from the NCAA tournament due to an NCAA penalty of years below-standard academic results, UCONN submitted a waiver last month and the request is under review.
