14 games into his senior season, Louisville point guard Peyton Siva is approaching some impressive career milestones and has a chance to break more than one school record. With his eight assists against Providence last week, Siva moved ahead of Phil Bond and is now third all time in career assists. He needs just twelve more to pass Terrence Williams and move into second place. LaBradford Smith is Louisville’s all time leader in assists with 713. It would take a miracle for Siva to pass Smith, but I think it’s a pretty safe bet that he’ll end up second all time in career assists at Louisville. Siva finished with 211 total assists last season which is the second in school history for total assists in season. LaBradford Smith also holds that record with 226 total assists in 1989-90. If Louisville makes a run in the post-season, Siva should have no trouble breaking that record.  Siva’s 194 career steals, ranks seventh in school history.
