Former Louisville point guard Peyton Siva is one of 70 NBA hopefuls that were invited to the 2013 NBA Draft Combine in Chicago, IL., on May 16th and 17th. Getting invited to the combine doesn’t mean much of anything, but this will certainly give the Seattle native and opportunity to improve his draft stock. Since the season ended he’s been in Las Vegas training for the draft at the Impact Basketball Academy. Despite winning a national championship and going to back-to-back Final Fours, along with being only the second player to ever win the Big East Tournament MVP more than once, Siva’s draft stock isn’t very high. ESPN’s Chad Ford lists Siva as the 15th best point guard in the draft. I’m probably a little biased, but it’s hard for me to believe that some of the guys that Ford has listed ahead of Siva are really better NBA prospects. Ford’s Top 15 PG’s 1.)Trey Burke, Michigan 2.)Michael Carter-Williams, Syracuse 3.)Shane Larkin, Miami 4.)Dennis Shroeder, Germany 5.)Pierre Jackson, Baylor 6.
