If you watch enough college baskeball, you’re certain to see some hard falls and some epic collisions. These guys are first-class athletes playing at 100 mph at all times so injuries are inevitable. In this afternoon’s Butler/Detroit game, Butler guard Ronald Nored suffered an injury that you rarely see: a broken tooth. After diving for a loose ball in the first-half, Nored landed face first and emerged with a front tooth that literally cracked in half. I’ve suffered my share of basketball injuries in my life, but nothing even close to this. Damn. H/T to EB’s World for the pic.
