Coach Pitino had some interesting comments about Jim Calhoun and the UConn Huskies in his post game press conference on Saturday afternoon. Pitino thinks UConn will be just fine without their head coach as they head to Louisville on Monday evening.
“I think under normal circumstances it would hurt, but Connecticut is so used to him being out. He was suspended three games earlier, so I think they are used to it a little bit. They played great [Saturday]. played super defense and held Seton Hall to 19 points in the first half. I think they are used to it.”
