PLAYERS: Casey Prather
TEAMS: Florida Gators
Casey Prather didn’t waste time announcing his return to his teammates and all those in the O’Connell Center. Eighteen seconds after checking in during the second half, he skied for an offensive rebound, corralled it and went back up to draw a foul. The crowd noticed the effort, but it was the Florida bench that appreciated it the most. The junior has developed a knack for the athletic plays.

UCF at Florida game preview

Florida got a scare when its leading scorer exited the last game with a sprained left ankle. Although Billy Donovan's team didn't have any trouble finishing off an overmatched opponent without Kenny Boynton, he'll likely need his senior guard for this next stretch. Boynton is expected back Friday when No. 7 Florida hosts a Central Florida squad that upset the Gators...

Wilbekin's career night propels No. 7 Florida

The game plan for Central Florida was to force Scottie Wilbekin to hit shots. He did. The junior point guard recorded 17 points, five rebounds and eight assists, all career highs, while going 6-for-12 from the field. The starting lineup looked like it wouldn’t change until Wilbekin worked his way back, but he could force his way back after No. 7 Florida’s 79-66 win over UCF.
