Ike Azotam scored 32 points and shot 13-18 from the field as the Quinnipiac Bobcats defeated Niagara 85-81 on Thursday night. Quinnipiac got off to a fast start as they led by nine at the half, 85-81. In the second half, Niagara would draw as close as two points but could never take the lead as the Bobcats answered every Purple Eagle run. Antoine Mason led Niagara in scoring with 22 points. Juan’ya Green had a untypical off night, shooting 3-13 from the field for only 10 points. On the other side of the ball, Quinnipiac was led by Ike Azotam. Azotam scored 32 points and grabbed nine rebounds while leading the Bobcats to the win. With the loss, Niagara drops to 4-8 on the year and has off till December 28th when they take on UMBC.
