CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein is reporting that Michigan is headed back to New York City in 2013-14 to play Stanford at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Stanford went 19-15 last season, losing to Alabama in the NIT, and finished 9-9 in Pac 12 play. Stanford returns the majority of its firepower from last season including Dwight Powell, Chasson Randle, Josh Huestis, Aaron Bright and John Gage. The Wolverines beat West Virginia at the Barlcays Center last season in the Brooklyn Hoops Winter Festival. Michigan is also scheduled to face Arizona and Iowa State next year along with a trip to the Puerto Rico Tip Off featuring Auburn, Charlotte, Florida State, Georgetown, Kansas State, Long Beach State and VCU. The Wolverines are also likely to go on the road for the Big Ten-ACC Challenge. A full rundown of future scheduling dates can be found here.
