Temple University basketball player Khalif Wyatt was one of 28 people arrested during a weekend prostitution bust in Atlantic City, CSNphilly.com reported Monday.
Wyatt, 21, was arrested and charged with engaging in prostitution and resisting arrest after he allegedly solicited an undercover police officer posing as a prostitute in New Jersey's oceanside gambling mecca.
The 6-foot-4 guard was reportedly apprehended after attempting to flee the scene.
Officers from the Atlantic County Sheriff's Department, the Absecon Police Department and agents with the FBI's Lost Innocence Task Force made the arrests during a two-day operation.
A Temple University spokesman declined to comment on Wyatt's arrest, according to CSNphilly.com.
Wyatt, who is entering his senior year at Temple, was second on the Owls' roster in scoring last season with 17.1 points per game.
