By Wayne Bumpass – Duke Blue Devils senior flex forward Ryan Kelly was named ACC Player of the Week for the second time this season today. In his first game back since suffering a foot injury against Clemson Jan. 8, Kelly scored a career-high 36 points (10-14 FG, 9-12 FT, 7-9 3Pt) against the No. 5 Miami Hurricanes and led No. 3 Duke to a 79-76 win Saturday night in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Not only did Duke’s senior forward finish with a career-high in points, but he also hit a career-high 10 field goals, a career-high seven three-pointers, led the Blue Devils in rebounds with seven and he scored 45.7 percent of the teams total points, which is the highest percentage by a single Duke player this season. Another interesting note is that Kelly didn’t practice with the team until Thursday and that was for only about 20 minutes.
