At the beginning of the season, Saint Joseph was projected No. 1 in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll and expected to win the regular season A10 championship.  Four months later, it is your Saint Louis Billikens who finished atop the standings of the A10 and will have the number one seed in the A10 Tournament that starts Thursday at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York. The Billikens are ranked No.16 in the nation in both the USA Today Coach’s Poll and the AP Poll. Saint Louis’ first game of the tournament will be Friday at 11 am. The Billikens will play the winner of the Richmond vs. Charlotte game. This season, the Billikens played Richmond once, on the road, on Feb. 9. Saint Louis beat the Spiders 56-46 and were led by Dwayne Evans. The junior forward recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
