University of Miami sophomore point guard Shane Larkin had no official reactionFriday to reports he would declare for the NBA Draft, a school spokespersonsaid.
The school official said Hurricanes coach Jim Larranaga also had no comment, andLarkin still planned to announce his decision to stay in college or go pro at anews conference scheduled for 6 p.m. ET Sunday.
ESPN.com reported Larkins father, Barry, said his son indicated intentions toturn pro.
The Miami Herald quoted Barry Larkin as saying, It's not 100 percent, but allindications are Shane will turn pro.
Larkin averaged 14.5 points and 4.6 assists and 2.0 steals in helping lead Miamito the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season and tournament championships.
Underclassmen wishing to declare for the NBA Draft have until Sunday to do so.If a player officially declares, he cannot return to school.

It’s looking more and more as if Miami’s Shane Larkin will enter the draft. His dad said earlier that Shane understood market forces and that his perceived value may dictate his departure.
