Found November 22, 2008 on America Least:
Drake is taking a mental health weekend; the sheer predictability of Binghamton's season so far was just too much for him.

So instead, I, Ricky Ricardo, will update the blog with some happenings.

Before I start I have to give props to the Hartford Lady Hawks, after they beat No. 5 Duke on Friday. Of course, the rest of the Women's A(L)east proceeded to lose every game the next day.

As for the men, it was a great weekend. 5-3, with the only losses by Vermont against Maryland (understandable), Maine against Providence (expected), and Wagner against Stony Brook (shocker of the sports weekend? I don't think so).

Positives from the weekend: Albany and Hartford pulling out nail biters, Jay Greene scoring 22 points against Columbia (OMGZ j. GREEN CAN SCORE IF HE WANTED TO I TOLD YOU!), Hartford actually outrebounding a team, and no Binghamton players were arrested. Errr...not that we know about.

Negatives: Drake is going to have to start a new season of Replacing Ted, and he's running out of candidates, Will Brown is probably going to start politicing for Ambrose as ROY and Harris as POY, and Vermont can't hit free throws.

So the AE on the whole is doing much better than it did last year at this point.

The only question now is how many more games will it be before Broadus and Pikiell get desperate and reinstate Malik Alvin and Desmond Adedeji to try to get in on the .500 AE fun.

I give it one week max.
