Freddie Goldstein scored 15 points and South Alabama turned a 15-point halftime lead into an easy 67-44 nonconference win over Alabama A&M on Saturday night. Goldstein's 15 points came on 6 of 8 shooting, including two 3-pointers. Antione Lundy came off the bench in a big way, grabbing 14 rebounds - nearly half of A&M's team total of 30 boards - and added 13 points. Javier Carter scored 10 points for the Jaguars (4-2) while Augustine Rubit's nine boards helped give South Alabama a 47-30 rebounding edge. The Jaguars outscored A&M 16-4 on points in the paint. South Alabama got quickly out of the gate, taking a 29-14 halftime lead. For Alabama A&M (2-3), Jeremy Crutcher was the only Bulldog in double figures. He scored 11 points. A&M was ice cold from beyond the 3-point arc. The Bulldogs shot 2 for 17 from 3-point range.
