Ron Anderson Jr. scored 17 points, leading South Florida to a 66-46 victory over Georgia Southern on Wednesday night.
Despite the lopsided margin, no other player scored in double figures for South Florida (4-2).
Willie Powers III collected 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists to pace Georgia Southern (1-3). Eric Ferguson added 10 points and six rebounds for the Eagles.
Anderson made his first five shots to help the Bulls open a 23-10 lead on 71-percent shooting (10 of 14).
Georgia Southern hit only three of its first 17 shots (18 percent). The Eagles were down 17 before scoring eight unanswered points to make it 31-22 at the break.
South Florida opened the second half with a 9-0 run and slowly pulled away. The Bulls' lead peaked at 60-37 with 6 minutes to go.
