Sophomore forward Victor Rudd Jr. had a career night for South Florida.
Ironically enough, Rudd had zero points at halftime, but his team held a 29-22 advantage.
After the intermission, Rudd went off, scoring a career-high 24 points, all of which came in the second half, and two of which highlighted the evening.
With an 18-point lead and under six minutes to play in the game, USF got out on the break, and with St. John's reeling back in defensive transition, Rudd took advantage.
The 6-foot-7 forward got the ball on the wing and attacked middle, as St. John's big man God's Gift Achiuwa attempted to slide over and take the charge.
Rudd either didn't notice that Achiuwa was sliding over, or more likely didn't care.
Rudd took off and threw down a monster jam over God's Gift.
