America Least:

Well, Superman lives! You only had to look on Commonwealth Ave. in Boston to find him. In one of the most amazing performances in America East Tournament history, John Holland said, "jump on my back boys, I am taking you to the paradise."
There really is only one simple way to explain the play during the championship...IT SUCKED! Both teams shot just above 30%. BU was a disgusting 2 for 19 from three-point range. However, as we have been told, if you win, it doesn't matter how ugly you played. If you have John Holland on your team, it really doesn't matter how crappy you play.
Folks, it is very simple. BU scored 33 points in the second half. John Holland scored 23 of those 33. He had seven in the first half. You can, without question, say that if Holland is not on the court, Stony Brook wins the title. Stony Brook had no answer. Heck, they even looked scared of Holland. However, when you have a young team going against an experience player like that, that emotion isn't that common. The fact is that the BU game plan in the second half was give it to Holland. Did I mention that BU had only two players score over six points after Holland? (Partin 12, Irving 8).
What we all witnessed today either at Agganis or on ESPN2 was the creation of a legend. A legend in the AE because it maybe one of the greatest championship game performances this conference has seen. A legend at BU for...well, if you saw, you understand.
Superman appeared today for BU...his name was John Holland.
Congrats to the Boston University Terriers on winning the 2010-11 America East Men's Basketball Championship.
