It’s been pretty well documented this week that the No. 6 ranked Syracuse Orange will be without their second leading scorer on Saturday when they take on Louisville. Senior forward James Southerland has been suspended indefinitely. There had been some speculation about what exactly Southerland had been suspended for. There still isn’t anything concrete around his suspensions, but it appears to be academic in nature and the NCAA is investigating. Here is an excerpt from an article on Syarcuse.com which gives a little bit more info on the Southerland situation.
