Temple Shocks Duke at Wells Fargo Center

The game got off to an interesting start with Temple turning the ball over six times in the opening five minutes. Typically, this would favor Duke, but the Blue Devils were unable to convert on Temple's miscues and failed to make Temple pay for their mistakes. This allowed Temple to hang around and ultimately pull of the 78-73 upset.  The upset was fueled by the performances of Temple's three guards: Khaliff Wyatt, Juan Fernandez and Ramone Moore.  Wyatt knocked down big shot after big shot, including a stretch in which he hit back-to-back three-pointers in the final minutes of play. The junior guard finished with a game-high 22 points and five steals. His effort throughout the game, both early and late, was a major reason why Temple had so much success tonight.
