The Maryland Terrapins got some sun, had some fun and for good measure, captured the title of the Paradise Jam basketball tournament. The Terps edging Providence 56-52 in the championship game on Monday night in the Virgin Islands. Dez Wells and Evan Smotrycz were the only Terrapins in double figures, finishing with 13 points apiece. Maryland led 33-21 at the half, then held off the Friars for the four point victory. With three wins in four days, the Terps are now 4-2 on the season. The Terrapins return home to host Morgan State on Friday night at the Comcast Center.
