The Falcons should hire Mike Singletary as soon as they can

Now that Petrino has decided the college game is for him, the Falcons need a guy who can get one of the league's most dysfunctional locker rooms, worst fan bases and least talented teams in order. The first call should be to Mike Singletary, the guy has proven that he can coach. Will his race play into the hiring? Publicly no, privately yes, Arthur Blank knows that hiring Singletary who is a great coach, person and spokesman would raise his profile with the league and with the fan base. Can Singletary do it? I don't know but I do know the guy deserves a chance, anyone who can get the 49ers defense to play hard with the offense they have should get a chance.
