The Great Story of this Year’s Flawed Final Four

Let me start by saying, I love the NCAA Tournament more than anyone. When I say that, I realize I sound like any other male that has two hands enabling him to fill out a bracket and a 42″ HDTV, but I truly mean it. I celebrate March Madness as if it is a one month celebration of Christmas, with gifts coming in the form of last second buzzer beaters, stunning upsets, and ripped up brackets.  I fill out over 40 brackets each year, hoping that one day one of my 40 brackets might end up being perfect based off my imperfect combination of statistics, gut instinct, and coin flipping. Virginia Commonwealth and the Rams are moving into the Final Four. But, all of a sudden I’m not loving this years NCAA Tournament very much. For the first few games of the tournament, I was celebrating for VCU and Butler like they were the unattractive girl at the pageant that everyone voted for to create a feel good story.
