This my 6666th post on this board. Call it the Satanic Verses because I believe that for the last month, we've been through Hell and back. I cannot remember a rougher month for XU in the last 30 years. But, it's over and if this is the worst that my school ever has to go through, it's tolerable. Time to "reflect" errrr, ahhhh... move on to the second half of this season with reality. Get ready for some length on this one, because I gotta lot to say. Too much real work last week to post. 1) I love my school, but please Xavier admins....shut up and get over yourself, already. Especially, get off the students and your players. Xavier is still standing. No one outside cares anymore and if some of the media does...F-em. And to Tom Eiser. Leave the players alone for impromptu interviews. Xavier gets back on track, downs Fordham 67-59

Mark Lyons' 20 points and Andre Walker's 14 rebounds were just what the doctor ordered as Xavier posted a 67-59 win over a much improved Fordham Ram squad Saturday afternoon in Manhattan. Mark Lyons' 20 points helped Xavier get off the schneid with a 67-59 win at Fordham Saturday afternoon in the Bronx.

Mark Lyons scored 20 points, including two big free throws with 31 seconds to play, and Xavier beat Fordham 67-59 on Saturday, the Musketeers' 10th straight victory over the Rams.
