I am sick of talking about next year. This is it. And we're letting it get away from us. I don't pretend to understand the plight of Flyer fans during the dark days, and I am lucky to watch a program that takes winning seriously, but I don't want to talk about next year... and our recruits... and our elevation. UD fans entered this season with high hopes and for good reason: we had almost an entire team returning from the second round NCAA team, a schedule favorable towards winning, a good conference, and an early season tournament in Puerto Rico. As a band once said, "You're living the 'good old days' right now." UD had this game. Home arena. 9 point lead entering half-time. Solid contributions from London and Kurt. Chris Johnson hitting three key free throws to give us a 2-point lead. "No three pointers, no three pointers".... and then Marquis Jones nailed a three-pointer from the Oregon District with 5 seconds left to give URI ...
