Louisville will host Kelly Wells and the Pikeville Bears tonight for their first of two exhibition games prior to the start of the regular season. The Cardinals opened up exhibition play against Pikeville last year as well, winning by a score of 74-55. While this is Louisville’s first competitive action of the season, Pikeville has already played two games and are 2-0 this season.  Pikeville beat St. Andrews 105-64 in its opener Oct. 27 and Knoxville College 108-72 on Tuesday. The Bears compete at the NAIA Division 1 level and are ranked ninth in the NAIA poll. Pikeville was 17-12 last season after winning the NAIA national championship of 2011. Pikeville has been led in scoring this season by Deuce Tubbs who is averaging 24.5 points per game thus far.
