Southern Miss beat Arizona State last night 64-61. It's not often we get to show a game than includes both a fight and a buzzer beater, but we got lucky last night. Torye Pelham of Southern Miss landed a small punch to the face of Rusian Pateev on a box out, then Pateev retaliated with a punch to the back of the head. Both players would be ejected for fighting. Arizona State would then rally from 11 down in the final four minutes to tie it on two free throws by Keala King with five seconds to go. Darnell Dodson, playing in his first game for Southern Mississippi, sank
a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the them the victory. Quite a night in Arizona. Video below.

The Sun Devils who shot 57.7 percent in the first half and held a 12-point halftime lead were once again unable able to sustain that effort dropping their third straight home contest, falling 68-65 to Fresno State.
The resulting fight in Tempe wasn't on the scale of the one between Xavier and Cincinnati last week, but the punch that sparked it is so brutally dirty it's almost a work of art.
