Ohio State junior forward Deshaun Thomas was away from the birth of his first-born son a year ago today. With Deshaun Jr. in the stands exactly one year later, Thomas scored 24 points and led the Buckeyes to a 95-70 win over Iona in their NCAA Tournament opener. Thomas broke out of a slump, but was happier to do it with his son in the building this time.
