Isaiah Thomas' performance yesterday was one for the ages
I couldn't stop thinking, texting, or talking about yesterday's game. A lot of other local sports fans would agree that they probably haven't been as pumped since Marshawn's Beastmode touchdown against the Saints. The misery of 2008 seems so far away now. The Huskies were into the tournament yesterday, but there was such a will to win, and it showed in those final minutes. Everything that makes this team a threat to go deep into the tournament manifested itself. Three-point shooting, Isaiah Thomas, and a will to win. CJ Wilcox and Terrence Ross will start the rest of their time as Huskies. The two aren't playing like freshman anymore.
No. 10 Georgia vs. No. 7 Washington
Before everyone starts to talk about the possible second round matchup. It'd be wise to focus on the first round matchup. The Bulldogs finished 21-11 and ranked 57 in Ken Pom's rankings. Washington is ranked No. 15 in the rankings. A quick scan-through of Georgia's schedule reveals they only have one marquee win against Kentucky. The Huskies should be able to win this game with relative ease. We'll have more analysis on this first round matchup throughout the week.
